Image
English translation and appreciation of the song " Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi | Parineeti / Meri Pyaari Bindu”as per my understanding. Please listen to this beautiful song for better understanding: Introduction: They parted their ways before they could bid farewell to each other. The meandering road of life brings them back together gifting them the pain of bidding adieu at last.  A beautiful yet heart wrenching conversation between two estranged beaus, who meet years after moving on with their lives. Unlike the conventional love birds, they don’t cry over their destiny or blame life for being unfair. Recollecting their past, they instead accept the present and speak about the future in a rather painful yet beautifully mature way. They express why and how they will, if they ever meet again in the future. Covering their grief under the beautiful veil of deceptive smile they express their paradoxical feelings in the form of a melodious song. Lyrics: “Maana ke hum yaar na

Efforts Vs Results

We should value efforts more than, how good the result or output is... This I learnt last weekend when I was at my Aunt's house. I was helping her to cook Dinner for her son who was coming back from a week long outstation trip. That night, we all sat for dinner and for some reason her son didn't like the food and told her that the food was tasteless and he would like to order something from outside. My Aunt didn't utter a single word in defense and quietly nodded to agreement. I looked into her eyes, she was trying to avoid eye contact with me but I read the disappointment in her eyes. I didn't say anything, neither to her nor to my cousin, but I made a resolution in my mind that I would always value the efforts more than the result. :)

I would like you to listen to it and then read further: Introduction: A heart-breaking conversation between two beloved doves who are separated by the destiny. They sing in their pain remembering those good days and also mention the present state of being away from each other. Miles apart from each other yet they sing their hearts out knowing that somewhere my beloved is listening to me. Although, there’s no science or theory to explain this, they knew their words were being heard by each other. After all, love needs no science. "Baatein teri karte hue Thak ke so jaati hoon sirhaane aasmaan" Translation: I sleep under the sky tired, speaking about you. Appreciation: Under the open starlit sky, she thinks about him till sleep takes over. Staring at the dark sky full of stars she
